RHAPSODY OF REALITIES FOR WEDNESDAY 23RD JUNE 2021 – BE FERVENT IN SOUL-WINNING AND INTERCESSION

                                                                                       Rhapsody of Realities 2021

The topic of Rhapsody of Realities for 23rd June 2021 Is “Be Fervent in Soul-Winning And Intercession”

Today’s  Scripture: Ephesians 2:2

Wherein in time past ye walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience.

RHAPSODY OF REALITIES DEVOTIONAL FOR TODAY 23RD JUNE 2021

One of the most pitiful things to read about is the actual state of those who don’t know Jesus Christ. The scripture above is telling us about such people; those who aren’t Christians. It says they walk “according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience.”

It helps you understand why they think the way they do; they’re controlled by some other force. It says the prince of the power of the air is at work in them—the children of disobedience—those who have rejected the truth. This is where we come in; we must break the power of Satan over such folks and take the light of God’s Word to them. The Bible says you must bind the strongman to plunder his house (Matthew 12:29).

For us to record a massive harvest of souls in the nations of the world in these last days, we must break the power and influence of Satan and demons over the minds and lives of those who haven’t yet known the Lord, so the light of God’s glorious Gospel can shine in their hearts.

Anyone who’s not born again, whether it’s your father, mother, uncle, auntie, brother, sister, cousin, nephew, niece, in-law, friend, colleague, neighbour, etc.; they’re all under the control and dominion of these wicked rulers of darkness, until they receive the Gospel of Jesus Christ. 2 Corinthians 4:3 says, “But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost.” Ephesians 4:18 says they have their understanding darkened.

That’s why you must do something about it; they’re your responsibility. Be more fervent in soul winning and intercession; the harvest is ripe. Right from the day of Pentecost, the Bible tells us the Holy Spirit was poured out upon all men, in accordance with the prophecy in Joel 2:28.

This means men now have the potential ability of recognizing and receiving the truth. As you pray, declare that the power and influence of Satan and his demons over the people are broken in the Name of Jesus, and men and women hear the Gospel, perceive, understand and receive it for their salvation in Christ Jesus. Hallelujah! We must do this with all earnestness.

PRAYER

RHAPSODY OF REALITIES FOR TUESDAY 22ND JUNE 2021 – USE THE WORD TO MAKE YOUR LIFE GLORIOUS

Rhapsody of Realities By Pastor Chris
                                                                                       Rhapsody of Realities 2021

The topic of Rhapsody of Realities for 22nd June 2021 Is “Use the Word to Make Your Life Glorious”

Today’s  Scripture: Galatians 4:1

Now I say, That the heir, as long as he is a child, differeth nothing from a servant, though he be lord of all.

RHAPSODY OF REALITIES DEVOTIONAL FOR TODAY 22ND JUNE 2021

God is going to see me through; He’ll make a way for me, where there’s no way….” These are some of the unscriptural statements you hear from some Christians from time to time, and they wonder why their situations remain unchanged. You need to understand who you really are as a Christian; you’re one with God! As He is, so are you (1 John 4:17); and who is He?

He is the WAY! If He’s the way, which other way do you want Him to make? Understand this: nothing that you face is set to your disadvantage. You can walk through any barrier, or adverse circumstance in victory and great glory. That’s your heritage as a child of God. Quit thinking, talking and living as though you’re in the Old Testament. You don’t need a “breakthrough” from anything; you already “broke through” with Jesus when He rose triumphantly from the grave two thousand years ago.

You were delivered (past tense) from the domain of darkness, and translated into the Kingdom of God’s Love-son. You’re in the place of dominion, power and glory. 2 Peter 1:3 says, “According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue.”

It’s about your knowledge of Him. What becomes of your life is now entirely up to you. If you’re waiting on God to do anything about your life, or give you anything, you may wait in vain. He already did and gave you all that you require for an excellent, glorious and triumphant life. The works were finished from the foundation of the world (Hebrews 4:3 NKJV).

In Joshua 1:8, God didn’t say, “I’m going to make your way prosperous”; rather, He said, “YOU will make your own way prosperous.” God’s responsibility is to give you the recipe for prosperity, success and the good life, and He already did that through His Word. Now, you’re to use the Word to make your life glorious. Use the Word to subdue circumstances and prevail against adversities. Praise God!

CONFESSION

I have a consistent and instinctive desire for God’s Word. As I consciously imbibe the Word for my health, finances, business and every area of my life, I experience supernatural progress every day. By the Word, I make my way prosperous, effective and fruitful in the life of righteousness. Hallelujah!

RHAPSODY OF REALITIES FOR FRIDAY 30TH APRIL 2021 – KEEP YOUR BODY IN HEALTH WITH YOUR WORDS

 .

Rhapsody of Realities By Pastor Chris
                                                                                       Rhapsody of Realities 2021

The topic of Rhapsody of Realities for 30th April 2021 Is “Keep Your Body in Health With Your Words”

TODAY’S  SCRIPTURE:

RHAPSODY OF REALITIES DEVOTIONAL FOR TODAY 30TH APRIL 2021

When you’re born again, you have a new life. That life affects your whole spirit, soul and body. Our theme verse says if the Spirit that raised Jesus from the dead lives in you, that same Spirit shall vitalize (make alive) your mortal body. This already happened, because the Spirit lives in you now. Many aren’t experiencing this reality of the Word of God in their lives because they’re not acting on the Word.

Even if you were born again fifty years ago, if you don’t understand this truth, you’ll be subject to the elements of this world; dominated by headaches, fever, diabetes and all manner of sickness and disease. Don’t go through what spiritual slaves go through; come to a place in your life where you say, “Enough is enough; I refuse to be sick.”

Learn to exercise authority over your body. If you can’t exercise authority over your body, how are you going to exercise it over cities and nations? Your body is the first place to practise authority. If you feel the symptoms of sickness in your body, say, “No! A thousand times no! I’ve got the Spirit of God in me! I’ve got the life of God in me! I’ve got the strength of God in me, from the crown of my head to the soles of my feet!

I’m healthy and sound! My body is the temple of the Holy Ghost, and no sickness, disease or infirmity can thrive therein! Hallelujah!” Use your mouth. Speak words of healing and health over your body. As you speak, don’t let Satan deceive you that nothing is happening. Everything you say will happen! You can mend your heart; you can mend your lungs; you can mend your kidneys! Talk to your skin, your bones, your blood, and keep them in health. Glory to God!

CONFESSION

My body is the temple of the Holy Ghost; I refuse to allow anything dominate me. I keep my body in subjection to the Word of God! Anything that’s not consistent with the Word of God for my life isn’t permitted in my body! I walk in divine health continually. Glory to God!

RHAPSODY OF REALITIES FOR THURSDAY 29TH APRIL 2021 – WE HAVE AUTHORITY

 .

Rhapsody of Realities By Pastor Chris
                                                                                       Rhapsody of Realities 2021

The topic of Rhapsody of Realities for 29th April 2021 Is “We Have Authority”

TODAY’S  SCRIPTURE: Luke 22:53

When I was daily with you in the temple, ye stretched forth no hands against me: but this is your hour, and the power of darkness.

RHAPSODY OF REALITIES DEVOTIONAL FOR TODAY 29TH APRIL 2021

We’re in a time when there’s so much abuse of political power in many parts of the world. There’re some hostile laws, policies and actions in some states designed to be inimical to Christians because of their faith. If you’d read the story of Jesus’ arrest, before His crucifixion, you’ll see that these kinds of injustices aren’t new. Jesus experienced the abuse of power in high places.

John 18 recounts how Judas led the soldiers and officers sent by the high priests and Pharisees to arrest Jesus. Knowing all that was about to befall Him, the Lord went out to them and said, “Whom do you seek?” and they answered, “Jesus of Nazareth!” Then, Jesus said, “I am He.” Immediately Jesus spoke and identified Himself, the soldiers and temple police were knocked out by the power of God and fell to the ground.

Luke 22:52- 53 NKJV tells us, “Then Jesus said to the chief priests,  captains of the temple, and the elders who had come to Him, Have you come out, as against a robber, with swords and clubs? When I was with you daily in the temple, you did not try to seize Me. But this is your hour, and the power of darkness.” Notice the statement, “this is your hour, and the power of darkness.”

Jesus understood that the power of darkness was at work, and that these men that came to arrest Him were not motivated by themselves, but by Satan. Jesus faced six trials within a few hours and none of them could convict Him. The high priest had to frame something against Him out of anger, saying of Jesus, “…He hath spoken blasphemy; what further need have we of witnesses? Behold, now ye have heard his blasphemy” (Matthew 26:65).

A few hours later, He was crucified on the Cross. Thanks be unto God! He offered Himself of His own free will (John 10:17-18). The quick trials, unreasonable laws, the lies and unchecked manipulations today aren’t new. Hence we must get on our knees to pray fervidly in the spirit, declaring that our cities are dominated by the light of the Gospel, and impacted by the force of righteousness. We have authority, and Jesus is Lord over all. Stand up for Him and His Church everywhere

CONFESSION

I refuse to be intimidated by decrees or laws that are anti-Christian or against the preaching of the Gospel; rather, I’m stirred within to pray that the wicked acts, schemes, policies and stratagems of Satan to frustrate God’s people and the preaching of the Gospel around the world be brought to naught, in the Name of Jesus Christ. Amen.

RHAPSODY OF REALITIES FOR WEDNESDAY 28TH APRIL 2021 – FAITH FOR THE GOOD WARFARE

 .

Rhapsody of Realities By Pastor Chris
                                                                                       Rhapsody of Realities 2021

The topic of Rhapsody of Realities for 28th April 2021 Is “Faith for The Good Warfare”

TODAY’S  SCRIPTURE: 1 Timothy 1:18-19 NIV

Timothy, my son, I am giving you this command in keeping with the prophecies once made about you, so that by recalling them you may fight the battle well, holding on to faith and a good conscience, which some have rejected and so have suffered shipwreck with regard to the faith.

RHAPSODY OF REALITIES DEVOTIONAL FOR TODAY 28TH APRIL 2021

Our Theme scripture is very enlightening: to war a good warfare requires faith and a good conscience. Also, it’s important to know who you’re up against in this warfare. Ephesians 6:12 says, “For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.” These rulers of darkness are the ones that run the course of this world, manipulate and control the thoughts and minds of those who are rebellious to Christ and the Gospel.

There’s no good whatsoever in demons. Everything about them is evil, and they haveno restraint to wickedness except when we, by the power of the Holy Spirit, and in the Name of Jesus, restrain them. Ephesians 6 tells us with what to put up ouronslaught and wage our defense against these evil forces of darkness. Verse 13 says, “Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand….”

Then in the 16th verse, after identifying the defence paraphernalia, he says, “Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked… and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God” (Ephesians 6:16-17). Here’s why the message of faith is so important; because it says, “Above all, taking the shield of faith!”

This doesn’t mean you’re to look for a shield called faith; rather it means as you operate your faith in God’s Word, it’s a shield with which you shall, without doubt, be able to quench, neutralize, defuse and put out all the fiery darts of the wicked. It doesn’t matter what missile the enemy throws at you; your faith quells and neutralizes them.

Faith comes by hearing and hearing by the Word of God (Romans 10:17). The more of God’s Word you hear, the more your faith increases. And the more you put the Word of God to work, the more your faith is strengthened. Keep hearing God’s Word and putting it to work; your faith will be strong and effective. Hallelujah!

PRAYER

Dear Father, I thank you for the faith I have in your Word; my faith is alive, and with it, I quench, neutralize, defuse, put out and extinguish all the fiery darts of the enemy, foiling and rendering his devices, manipulations, tricks, lies, schemes and stratagems ineffective, in the Name of Jesus. Amen.

RHAPSODY OF REALITIES FOR TUESDAY 27TH APRIL 2021 – WORKING THE WORD

 .

Rhapsody of Realities By Pastor Chris
                                                                                       Rhapsody of Realities 2021

The topic of Rhapsody of Realities for 27th April 2021 Is “Working the Word”

TODAY’S  SCRIPTURE: (Romans 10:10)

For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

RHAPSODY OF REALITIES DEVOTIONAL FOR TODAY 27TH APRIL 2021

There’re three vital things you must do to effectively work the Word and enjoy God’s provisions for you always. First, your heart must line up with the Word. The Bible says, “For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness…” (Romans 10:10). That means you’re made right with God when you come into agreement with His Word in your heart. The second thing is, your mind must line up with your heart on the Word.

This implies that the Word must have meaning in your understanding. Without that meaning, you can’t communicate what’s in your heart through language. Then, third, you must speak the Word—“rhema” (Greek); a word directed to a specific person, at a specific time, for a specific purpose.

It’s the active Word given for a particular situation. That was what Ezekiel uttered in the valley of dry bones; he said, “I prophesied as He (the Lord) commanded me” (Ezekiel 37:10). If your speech or utterance isn’t in line or agreement with what God has said, you’ll get the wrong result. The opening text says, “For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation” (Romans 10:10).

The word translated “confession is made” is the Greek word “homologeo,” which means to speak in consent, or in agreement with another. The inspiration of the Spirit provides us with God’s Word (rhema). Our meditation on this word or declaration of it produces tremendous results, bringing the Word into manifestation.

PRAYER

Dear Father, thank you for your specific and active word to me today that addresses my peculiar situation. As I speak forth “rhema,” and declare words of power concerning my health, finances, business, and ministry, circumstances align with your perfect will and destiny for me, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

RHAPSODY OF REALITIES FOR THURSDAY 18TH MARCH 2021 – PERSECUTED FOR HIS SAKE

 .

Rhapsody of Realities By Pastor Chris
                                                                                       Rhapsody of realities 2021

The topic of Rhapsody of Realities for 18th March 2021 Is “Persecuted for His Sake”

TODAY’S  SCRIPTURE: 1 Peter 4:4

Wherein they think it strange that ye run not with them to the same excess of riot, speaking evil of you.

RHAPSODY OF REALITIES DEVOTIONAL FOR TODAY 18TH MARCH 2021

In 1 Peter 4, the Apostle Peter emphasizes that living in accordance to God’s Word comes with a price of being ridiculed. Many will be surprised when you don’t join them in the same wild and reckless living; and so they’ll insult, vilify and speak evil of you. The Amplified Classic translation of the opening text tells us, “They are astonished and think it very queer that you do not now run hand in hand with them in the same excesses of dissipation, and they abuse [you].”

Irrespective of the evil or abuses they haul at you because you ‘follow’ Jesus, never be ashamed. Your association with Christ is the greatest honour ever. The Bible says, “For it is better to suffer for doing good, if this should be God’s will, than for doing evil” (1 Peter 3:17). So, distinguish yourself for the Lord. Arm yourself with the same mind—the mind of Christ. Don’t be ashamed to stand up for the Lord no matter the persecutions.

He stood up for you, and saved you; so, you must stand up for Him. Don’t be concerned that you may be isolated or ostracized. Jesus loves you even if all others forsake you, and according to the Word, He won’t forsake you. He’s in you and always with you: “…lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen” (Matthew 28:20).

Read His words in Luke 21:33-36: “Heaven and earth shall pass away: but my words shall not pass away. And take heed to yourselves, lest at any time your hearts be overcharged with surfeiting, and drunkenness, and cares of this life, and so that day come upon you unawares.

For as a snare shall it come on all them that dwell on the face of the whole earth….” We’re in the end times, and the current happenings around the world are a fulfilment of these prophecies, right before our eyes. But here’s a question you must answer in Hebrews 2:3: “How shall we escape, if we neglect so great salvation?….” Live according to God’s Word and let nothing cause you to ignore or neglect your salvation.

Jesus said in Matthew 5:11-12, “Blessed are ye, when men shall revile you, and persecute you, and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake. Rejoice, and be exceeding glad: for great is your reward in heaven: for so persecuted they the prophets which were before you.”

CONFESSION

I’m undaunted and unmoved at the vilifying or slanderous words of the wicked, as I walk on in the Word, by the Spirit. I’m the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus, His workmanship, created to produce fruits of righteousness. I’ve crucified the flesh with its passions and desires; Satan has nothing in me! Hallelujah!
